The new insurance limits will be 25/50/20 $25,000 each person, $50,000 each accident, and $20,000 for property damage. Customers should expect an increase in their auto insurance rates if the customer only has the current minimum liability insurance coverage. Senate bill 308 was passed on May 23, 2017. Senate bill 308 relates primarily to automobiles for personal or commercial use.
The problem with this bill is that it still exempts moped, or scooter owners from obtaining Nevada liability insurance. If you agree that moped and scooters should have liability insurance please write to your local State legislature.
